Orange County Commissioners elected to represent Districts One, Three and Five were sworn-in at the Renaissance Senior Center at Curry Ford Community Park. The ceremony included remarks from Orange County Mayor Richard T. Crotty.  More than 450 invited guests attended the mid-morning ceremony to congratulate Commissioner S. Scott Boyd, District 1 and Commissioner Mildred Fernandez, District 3 along with Commissioner Bill Segal, District 5. 

The Orange County Fire Rescue Honor Guard presented the colors. Two county employees participated in the ceremony, Yuan Cochran, from Fiscal and Business Services, who recently became an American citizen, led the Pledge of Allegiance. Brittney Taylor, who works with the Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs, performed the National Anthem. Taylor won a 1^st place award in the Employee Arts Contest held last summer.
