Advisory Boards Listing

Advisory boards, commissions, and authorities to which the Board of County Commissioners makes appointments are an integral part of the governmental process in Orange County and Central Florida. The volunteers who participate provide the Board with valuable insights and their service is greatly appreciated.

The following is a list of the advisory boards, commissions, and authorities to which the Board of County Commissioners makes appointments.

Members of these boards are appointed based on their background and interest in a particular field and are expected to attend all advisory board meetings. Those who miss three consecutive meetings or twenty-five percent of the regularly scheduled meetings in a calendar year shall be considered to have resigned. Attendance reports are sent to the Membership and Mission Review Board on a quarterly basis for review.

NOTE: Financial disclosure is required following appointment, not at the time of application.
