Ken Peach

Citizen-at-Large Representative

Ken Peach is president of Future Vision Group, LLC, a product marketing and planning company in Orlando. He has twenty years of experience in hospital, nursing home and health care association administration in Orlando and Leesburg. Prior to his experience in healthcare, Mr. Peach built, managed and owned radio stations in New Jersey and Florida. Mr. Peach has also served as the liaison between the statewide hospital auxiliary and the Florida Hospital Association, the trade organization for hospitals. Mr. Peach is a member of the Senior Resource Alliance Advisory Board, Delta Leadership Council and is working with the Florida Pioneer Network to improve the lifestyle of residents of nursing homes.  Mr. Peach belongs to the Dr. Phillips Rotary Club; is the Supervisor for the Harmony Community Development District; is secretary/ treasurer for the Central Florida Healthcare Executives, and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Joan Nelson

Chair of the Commission on Aging's Community Partnerships Committee

Joan Nelson is the Vice President of Community Impact for the Heart of Florida United Way. Ms. Nelson joined HFUW in 1997 as the Director of Resource Management where she oversaw the fund distribution process. She left to become the Director of Program Operations for the Children's Home Society and returned in 2001 to a jointly funded position with UCF and HFUW as the Director of Research and Evaluation/Campus Director of the American Humanics Certificate Program. Ms. Nelson is widely published on the topic of outcome-based measurements and program evaluations. Ms. Nelson has also been an adjunct professor at UCF since the spring 2002, and represents Heart of Florida United Way on the Seminole County Alliance and the Orange County Central Receiving Center Governing Board. Ms. Nelson is the Chair of the Commission on Aging's Community Partnerships Committee.

Randall D. Hunt

Chief Executive Officer - Senior Resource Alliance

Mr. Hunt is President and CEO of Senior Resource Alliance. Previously, he was the CEO of Seniors First, Inc. Prior to transferring to Florida, Mr. Hunt was the CEO of a mental health residential treatment center in Peoria, Illinois for 32 years.  Mr. Hunt earned an MBA from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bradley University. He has been actively involved with the Heart of Florida United Way and the Council of Agency Executives, and is a member of the Florida Association of Service Providers Board of Directors.

Media Representative

Martha Johnson is currently the manager of communications for The Institute of Internal Auditors.  Prior to this she was the manager of the 55PLUS program at Orlando Regional Healthcare where she was employed for 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. She served on the Interim Orange County Commission on Aging and was a member of the Mayor's Committee on Aging. She received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Catalyst Institute for Innovation and Excellence in 2003. This national award is given in recognition of accomplishments in advancing program initiatives for the aging population.

Fran Carlin-Rogers

Transportation Representative

With more than 25 years of experience in community services and healthcare, Fran Carlin-Rogers has worked with many community organizations throughout Florida. Recognized as an expert in the area of at-risk drivers, and the public safety issue of safe driving and dementia, she was appointed to the Florida At Risk Driver Advisory Council, DriveWell, by the American Society on Aging and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  

Ms. Carlin-Rogers is a management consultant specializing in the areas of program development, driver safety, Alzheimer's and dementia services, senior advocacy, and strategic planning. She also is a member of the Department of Elder Affairs Alzheimer Disease Initiative Advisory Committee,  the Senior Resource Alliance Advisory Council,  and is  a Heart of Florida United Way volunteer.

Reverend Joaquin Perez-Aponte

Faith Representative

Reverend Perez-Aponte is the Senior Pastor of Faith Generation Spanish Church. Retired from the Army after 20 years of service as a Chaplain Assistant, Reverend Perez-Aponte and his family took residence in Orange County in 1995. Included in his 25 years of progressive experience in Pastoral Ministry, the Reverend spent eight years church planting in the United States and Latin America. In addition to serving as a Pastor, he is a member of the Central Florida Hispanic Christian Church Association, Assemblies of God General Council - USA, and the City Connect Christian Coalition.

Jean Siegfried

Foundation Representative

A resident of Orange County since 1960, Jean Siegfried has been actively involved with, and on the boards of, many community organizations, including the League of Women Voters, the Women's Resource Center, Healthy Community Initiative, Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, the Sageing Center of Winter Park, Parent Teacher and School Advisory Committees and the First Unitarian Church. As owner and operator of PDQ Printing for 36 years, she is familiar with the challenges of the business community, and was a board member of industry associations, both state and national, during that time. In her retirement she continues her civic commitment and is working toward the establishment of a Fair Trade retail store in our community.

Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell

Board of County Commissioners Representative

Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell was elected to the Board of County Commissioners in 2006.  A graduate of Dr. Phillips High School, Commissioner Moore Russell received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science at the University of South Florida and Juris Doctor at Florida State University College of Law. She is currently a member of the Florida Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, Virgil Hawkins Chapter - National Bar Association, N.A.A.C.P. Orange County Branch, Living Hope Ministries Executive Board, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.  She represents Orange County as a member of the Orange County Canvasing Board, MetroPlan Orlando Board, African American Chamber, Orange Blossom Trail Development Board, Orange County Commission on Aging, and Orange County Youth and Family Services Board.  Commissioner Moore Russell has also served on the Orange County Community Action Board, Orange County Board of Zoning and Adjustments, and Orange County Citizens Review Board.
