The Orange County Community Corrections Division is an integral part of the criminal justice system providing community-based supervision to an average daily population of more than 8,000 offenders.

Community Surveillance (Home Confinement): (407) 836-3013 Email Provides electronic monitoring of certain offenders or accused offenders in the community. Officers supervise these individuals through field visits, phone contacts, and electronic monitoring. Community Surveillance reduces jail overcrowding and provides an extra level of supervision for certain inmates who are released from jail to await trial after posting bail or are sentenced to house arrest.

Pretrial Diversion: (407) 836-3113 EmailPretrial Diversion is a deferred prosecution program which is primarily for first-time offenders. This program provides supervision to a select population of persons charged with a criminal offense. It creates an opportunity for societal compensation through program conditions of community service, restitution and counseling without the stigma of a criminal conviction.

Pretrial Services: (407) 836-3416 Email Pretrial Services identifies eligible persons and releases them from the Orange County Jail pending final disposition of criminal charges through the judicial system. Staff release offenders either in accordance with an administrative order or under a judicial order.

Probation: (407) 836-3105 Email Supervises offenders who have been sentenced to misdemeanor probation in county court. Probation Officers monitor offenders to ensure they follow the terms of probation as set forth by the court. When offenders are not in compliance with the conditions of probation, the case can be returned to court.

Central Intake: (407) 836-3099 Email Responsible for the initial intake of offenders into Community Corrections.
