Orange County Capital Projects Division is responsible for the management of design and construction of approximately sixty-five (65) vertical construction projects annually. Design and Construction Services averaging $50 million in project expenditures yearly are contracted out and performed by the private sector while being managed by in-house personnel.

These projects are organized into various categories including Corrections, Parks and Recreation, Fire and Rescue, Sheriff's Office, and Administrative Centers, among others. The projects range from $100 million jail expansions to roof replacements on existing facility inventory.

Our staff of 20 consists of Project Managers and Project Coordinators degreed in Architecture, Engineering, and Building Construction. Highly trained and versed in the building design and construction disciplines, our staff use computer applications to manage contracts, budgets, and schedules.
